This latest innovation from Segway doubles as robot friend. Dubbed as Ninebot, the robot character uses regular Segway base. When not in use the Robot uses Segway to crawl around you as private butler.
The Ninebot is developed by Intel. The robot can interact with people, objects and responds to voices. Not to mention the robot is also self-balancing. The robot follow its owner, takes pictures and record videos if asked. But most of all it carries your item and walks behind as you shop around.
Segway has open invitation for developers who want to hack it for further enhancement using their SDK, which will be available in next few months. Watch the videos.
