The crowdfunding campaign for Stary skateboard ended with 1,178 contributors and collecting $740,000. Stary is the most sleek electric skateboard we have seen. It hits to the top speed of 30km/h for 16km, depending on weight . The whole weight of 3.9 kg which is pretty cool for urban mobility vehicle. The use of ultra lightweight carbon fiber and bamboo has helped to achieve this performance and weight. The engine rests in one of the rear wheels. A minimalist remote control is provided to accelerate and to apply brakes. The Stary will be available from Jan 2016.
