The surface of traditional fabrics allows water, dirt and oil to adhere to the fabric requiring constant washes but ODO Denim has an engineered surface with billions of microscopic peaks. These peaks reduce the contact area between water, dirt and oil touching the surface of ODO denim. Adhesion is significantly reduced and potential stains imply roll of or can be rinsed off with water. The purpose is achieved by using silver-infused thread into the denim.
The patent pending fabric is woven with pure metallic silver fibers. On exposure to moisture and oxygen, silver releases an infinite supply of positive-charged Ag+ ion. Also prevents smell of sweat produced by odor-causing-bacteria. Available through Kickstarter the ODO shirt comes for $35 while the jeans starts from $109.
