BMW introduces i8 Concept Spyder. Based on i8 Concept Coupe this eco-friendly car is powered by 225 hp 3-cylinder gas engine at the rear and a 131 ho electric motor at the front. Both generate a combine 354 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. Surprisingly this i8 Spyder can reach 18 miles on a single charge without emission-releasing combustion. BMW i8 Concept Spyder can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 5 seconds and the metered top speed is 155mph
