Alfa Romeo promised a new model for a very long time and it is no wonder that most important information has already been published before the Geneva Motor Show. The Italians, however, were able to surprise. Introduced 4C is derived from a special series that will involve about 1,000 units in total. For Europe, along with Africa and the Middle East, but there are only 400 planned units so far, with a fixed price of €60,000. Launch Edition is available in two body colors, Alfa Red, or Carrara White as standard, nitrous headlamps with a dark base, aluminum diffuser in the rear bumper and rear alloy wheels. Even exhaust system and air filter, specially adjusted chassis, interior seats covered with leather / Alcantara and everything is nicely red quilted. But what gets each customer, even without special editions, is situated in the middle a four-cylinder with the output of 240 hp, which is transmitted through a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox and limited slip differential on the rear wheels. All this will allow Alpha acceleration from 0 to 100 km /h in 4.5 seconds and a top speed exceeding 250 km /h. The stop is assured by four drilled brake discs with four-piston coolant and brake calipers at the front. Interestingly the distribution of weight between the axles is made with the ratio of 40 to 60 for the rear. According to Alfa this achieves a great feeling to drive.
