The car manufacturer Lotus has announced two new models, the Sport Elise and Elise Sport220, successor to the classic Elise and Elise S. They will be available in Europe from December 2015 starting from 40,240 euros and 49,110 euros respectively
The “Sport” label previously released by the Lotus Esprit and the modals have gained weight and performance, with same level of aesthetics. Still we note the arrival of new exterior and interior colors and a new look in tartan. The Lotus Elise Sport thus has a horsepower of 134 allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 6s can go to maximum 204km/h. The Lotus Elise Sport220 has got 220hp which reaches for its 100km/h in 4.6s and can exceed 230 km/h.
The original model of the Lotus Elise was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1995. The Elise has since become the most widely distributed model of this brand, with a total of 32,000 units of the sporty convertible sold worldwide.
