World-renowned designer Piet Hein Eek, known from contemporary wood furniture and accessories, has created beautiful series of watch called Tube watches. The collection is created with the collaboration of LEFF from Amsterdam.
The use of high quality materials gives this collection a refined and tough industrial character. These watches are released in two series: D42 with leather straps ($249) and S42 with steel bracelets ($399).
The extruded tube ring is used in the watches to give industrial look. Indicators of the hours and minutes are integrated in a cylindrical housing. Extrusion molding is a design technique that gives the material its unique shape.
LEFF Amsterdam Tube watches are powered by Japanese Miyota system. High-quality sapphire glass provides excellent protection.You can wear them while swimming because they are waterproof up to 100 meters deep.
