The first watch collection Hublot MP-05 LaFerrari appeared three years ago and set a record for the maximum number of parts in the mechanism. Inspired by supercar this piece of jewelry costs $ 300,000. The models in this collection are very technologically advanced and complex. After three years Hublot has released an update to its iconic model. With all new body the newcomer is named “Hublot MP-05 LaFerrari Sapphire”.
The new edition is more of an evolution than a completely new item. New watch Hublot MP-05 LaFerrari Sapphire got a body made entirely out of sapphire. It took 600 precise work hours to manufacture the body and total 18 months for development.
The decision to create a sapphire watch case was not taken due to its strength but in order to provide a complete overview of perhaps one of the best mechanisms for Hublot. Now, fully transparent case reveals a complex mechanism consisting of 637 components that work together.
The method of data storage in this timepiece is borrowed from 2013 edition, including stored power reserve of 50 days, which is a record for the Tourbillon with manual winding. The new Hublot MP-05 LaFerrari Sapphire will be released a limited 20 units. Isn’t it something?
